This is the bar that is on everyone’s lips right now. The Bluebird, the second Liquid Corp. property, opened last week in the 11th district of Paris. Specializing in Gin, a very popular alcohol this year, it welcomes fans of spirits and cocktails in a chic ambiance inspired by California’s 50’s.
The Bluebird, a bar that loves Gin like a British in the 11th district of Paris
Liquid Corp is not on its first try in theme bars. After the Vodka at the Kremlin, the Whiskey at the Moonshiner and the Rhum at the Dirty Dick, the gin is honored at the Bluebird. You can order 30 different references and six cocktails are dedicated to Dutch spirits. The selection of spirits presented is not exhaustive, but it is also not frozen. It reflects the desire of the team behind the bar, three elders of the Moonshiner, to discover all the styles of gin. As for the mixed drinks, the menu oscillates between tradition and originality with creations or revisits of classics of the mixology.
The strength of the Bluebird is in the quality of its menu card. In addition to drinks devoted to gin, it proposes a dozen of creations. Among them, we can find light long drinks for the aperitif. There is also a selection of various spirits that would make jealous many bars, as rhum and whiskey for example.
It is impossible to finish this item without talking about the framework that goes with these excellent creations. The soft and colorful atmosphere reminds one of a classy house of the 50’s on the west coast of the United States. There is even an aquarium which makes the separation between the smoking room and the rest of the bar. The Bluebird is unfortunately small and can’t accept too many people. However we can easily imagine going there, to have a drink after a long day of work.
