Parisian or tourist, what are the best memories we keep from Paris to our home ? Yes, it is some photos ! But, it is better to get some original ones ! And not one of a kiss in front the Eiffel Tower, or a tourist pic in front the Louvre’s pyramid… The Sacré-Coeur, Trocadero, Champs de Mars, Bridge of Arts… That’s enough, we all have the same !
That is why I made especially for you a top of the most beautiful and original spots where you can take some photos… And so to get some special memories on our mind (and album of course).
1 | Crémieux street and colored walls (12th district)
Inspired by English workers’ homes, the Crémieux street e-is perfect to put some colors in your photos thanks to this colored walls. It is so beautiful in summer…
2 | Passage de l’Ancre (3rd district)
It is a nice private driveway, which is full of offices now… If you come in the 3rd district, you should pass through it where you can make beautiful flowered portrait.
3 | The Parvis of the BnF (13th district)
Huge glass towers where the sun reflects itself… It is a beautiful and clear spot to make wonderful urban photos. But, care of the wind, you can easily ruin your hairstyle…
4 | Auteuil Greenhouses (16th district)
Here, welcome in one of the four botanical gardens of Paris. Opened to everyone, you can walk in tropical greenhouses and discover exotic plants… What a beautiful and natural place ! You can see several gardens too, from French garden to the Japanese one, to guarantee you different types of photos.
5 | Arcades Place of Vosges or of Louvre (1st and 4th districts)
Kind of classic but perfect when it is raining. You can take some romantic or fashion photoss here, because it is such a fabulous place.
6 | Flowers’ market Queen Elizabeth II (4th district)
It is named in tribute to the Queen Elizabeth II because she loves buying flowers here when she comes in Paris. I advise you to go there during Sunday, because some shops are closed during the week. On the Louis Lépine place, you can walk inside and outside of beautiful 1900’s lodges. You will find orchids, plants, little trees, flowers… It represents some nice colors to catch and pint in your album !
7 | Dénoyez street and it graffitis (20th district)
It is the place of street art and urban artists. You can find here a lot of graffitis and some art workshops. It is a little pearl in this district !
8 | City of Flowers (17th district)
Between Clichy and Saint-Ouen ways, in the middle of the 17th district, you can go in the City of Flowers, a private and calme driveway. Nice place to take photos without cars, people and bikes… It provides to photos an true-born charm of the capitale.
9 | Thermopyles Street (14th district)
The Thermopyles street is one of secrets from the 14th district. Unknown, it hides green and plants in a calm way. You can take some romantic photos here and keep a beautiful side of Paris.
10 | Montmartre’s stairs (18th district)
Famous stairs ! Montmartre is one of the highest point of Paris. That’s why a lot of stairs are present all around the Sacré-Coeur. Just go there and lose yourself in one little street, you will be glad I promise !
11 | Indoor way of Lepic street (18th district)
Stay a little in the 18th district and go down to the Lepic street. Welcome in a kind of abandoned way behind a big gray gate. One point: you must respect the peaceful place of the neighbors.
12 | The Villa Léandre (18th district)
This is one of the luxurious place of Paris. It was built under the former Montmartre slum, and houses look like Londoner houses. When you go to the 10th one, you will see a slab with the inscription “Downing Street Sw1 – City of Westminster”…
13 | The Je t’Aime Wall (18th district)
Finally, let’s see 311 “love you” written in this huge wall, in 280 different languages. Because we are in the romantic city, don’t we ? You can take some original photos here, it is a unique pace in the world.
14 | Buttes Chaumont Park (19th district)
Completely built by men, during Haussmannian era, welcome in this big park where you can take exceptional photos ! Sweet place, romantic place, wild place… Everything is possible here.
15 | Parisian cemeteries (Père Lachaise, Montparnasse, Montmartre)
Yeah, I know it is weird a bit… But graveyards are peaceful places where you can take original photos. It reigns a mystic and respectful feeling, because of famous people’s tombs. I like the Montparnasse cemeteries, because it is more calm than the other ones.
So, you have all the places to take original photos of Paris, and discover by the way the capital city. But, all the other touristic places have charm too… So, take your cameras and let’s go !
