Paris, it’s everything. Everything against the rest of the entire world. However… When we go right inside the capitale city, we easily realize that Paris is cut in two. First, in a geographic point of view, because of the river Seine. And so in a home point of view. And it’s true ! Because left bank right bank are two so different worlds… And everyone supports its part of town !
Before the war of districts of Paris, there is the banks war ! And if you don’t believe me, ask Parisian people ; they will remind to to you while singing the praises of their own side !
You need an example… A underground line battle ?
– Left bank, there is the 6th. It completely crosses Paris and it is aerial !
– True. But right bank, there is the 1st. It’s the first line of Paris, it is quick, efficient and up-to-date ! You can’t defeat me on these points…
Just a simple example of the fight between left bank right bank… Well, to me it’s a little bit complicated. Because, I was born on left bank but I live on right bank… And I can’t really choose between the two of it. Whatever…
Because it’s a kind of funny, I made a mix of 8 facts that any Parisian wouldn’t or couldn’t dispute about his town and his habits… (You need to read it with humour of course… I don’t want to offend you !)
